Prodipta Bhattacharya has a diverse background in finance, with extensive experience in managing and structuring alternative assets, private market transactions, and capital raising. Prodipta currently serves as the Managing Director for Structured Credit and Equity products at US Capital, where they are responsible for corporate finance, asset management, and capital formation services. Prior to joining US Capital, Bhattacharya was the Director of Corporate Finance at IQ-EQ, specializing in private equity, private debt, and real estate deal placement. Prodipta also held positions as the Director of Corporate Development at Jindal Group, Managing Director at Drax Private Markets, and Head of Structured Finance at Mint Partners. Earlier in their career, Bhattacharya served as the Chief Risk Officer at City Fund Management, Head of Strategy Research at Altis Partners, and Head of Risk Management and Quantitative Research at AXA Investment Managers. Prodipta began their career as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Tarchon Capital Management, focusing on equity market neutral, statistical arbitrage, and systematic macro strategies. Bhattacharya's expertise lies in deal origination, due diligence, deal structuring, and risk management across various asset classes and investment strategies.
Prodipta Bhattacharya completed their Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nuclear Physics from the same university, undertaking their doctoral studies from 2002 to 2005.
