Ian Johnson

Ian Johnson is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in teaching and leadership. Currently serving as a Math Teacher at Cabarrus County Schools since August 2024, Ian has been involved with Southlake Christian Academy since December 2017, where roles included Head Swim Coach and Assistant Golf Coach, along with teaching various mathematics and physics courses. Additionally, Ian contributes as the Director of AVL services for events and serves as a RenWeb Administrator. With a role as Guide School Instructor for the U.S. National Whitewater Center since 2019, Ian trains future raft guides and leads rafting trips. Ian holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Covenant College.
