Betsy Alison

Betsy Alison is a highly experienced individual who has been working with US Sailing since April 1983. Betsy currently serves as a Master Trainer and Instructor Trainer, providing education to sailing instructors and coaches using US Sailing programs and methodology. Betsy also has experience as the Coach of the US Paralympic Team from Sydney 2000 through Rio 2016. In addition, Betsy is the Adult Programs Director at US Sailing, overseeing various adult programs such as Safety At Sea and Adaptive Sailing. Betsy previously worked as the Staff Coach for the US Para Sailing team. Betsy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Tufts University.
