Mel Hart

Mel Hart, ATP, ME, CFI, CFII, has extensive experience in aviation and education, currently serving as a First Officer at USA Jet Airlines since April 2018. Previously, Mel Hart worked as a Certified Flight Instructor with MICHIGAN Flyers from June 2014 to the present and with Eagles Wings Flight Instruction from September 2012 to June 2014. In addition to flight instruction, Mel Hart spent 30 years at Livonia Public Schools as a Supervisor, transitioning to the aviation field after a role as a Realtor at Century 21 Today from 2005 to 2009. Mel Hart holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aviation Flight Technology from Eastern Michigan University, earned between 2009 and 2017, and attended Schoolcraft College in 2011.
