Mary Swanstrom

Mary Swanstrom, MS, ATC, CAFS, is an experienced athletic trainer currently working at the University of California, Davis since December 2022. In addition to this role, Mary has served as a coach educator for USA Rugby since September 2016. Previous experience includes serving as the OHWS Athletic Trainer at LMR Technical Group and as an athletic trainer for the Houston Sabercats while at Baylor College of Medicine. Mary has a robust background in rugby, having held positions as an athletic trainer for various teams and as a coach for both high school and college women's rugby. Mary earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from The College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University-Sacramento, along with multiple educational credentials in exercise science and coaching.
