Andy Day has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Andy started their career in 1997 as the Founder and President of CTR Online, an Internet service provider. Andy then became the Marketing Director at CogoLink Wireless, where they developed marketing strategies for high-speed wireless internet. In 2000, they founded Broadband Solutions, an ISP offering various internet services. From 2003 to 2005, they served as the President and Founder of Avalanche Communications, specializing in hosted VoIP solutions. In 2005, they joined IP Telesis as the VP of Operations Engineering, managing a nationwide Voice over IP network. Andy later worked at Velocity Networks as a Senior Network/Voice Engineer and at Broadband Dynamics as the VP of Product. Currently, they are the Design Principal at Sugardoodle. Throughout their career, Andy has provided consulting services to telecom and web-based companies, helping them with network development, marketing, and operations.
Andy Day attended Franklin University from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2011, they enrolled in Salt Lake Community College and completed a CCNA program in Cisco Networking the following year. In the same year, they also received specialized training in NBS 5200 from Sonus. In 2006, Andy became a Nextone Certified Systems Engineer after completing a program at Nextone, focusing on VoIP, Telecom, SBC, and Gateways. Prior to their university studies, from 1996 to 2000, they attended Salt Lake Community College, and in 1991 to 1993, they completed their secondary education at Jordan High School.
