Sam McCain

Sam McCain is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in the transportation industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Operations at USA Truck, Inc. since April 2008, McCain has held various roles including Asset Manager, Area Service Manager, Regional Maintenance Manager, and Operations Manager. Responsibilities have included life cycle management of fixed assets, overseeing truck capacity in the Midsouth region, and managing maintenance across multiple terminals. Prior experience includes a role as Operations Manager at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., overseeing fleet managers in the Southeast Regional Group. Academically, McCain attended Arkansas Tech University from 1996 to 2000 and the University of Arkansas from 1995 to 1996.
