Kelly Armstrong

Kelly Armstrong serves as the AVP, Lead Life Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary at USAA since June 2021, directing the Life Legal team to provide legal support for USAA Life Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. Prior experience includes roles as AVP and Assistant Corporate Secretary at SafeAuto, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Zurich North America, and Assistant General Counsel at Canal Insurance Company. Armstrong has built a diverse legal background with a focus on litigation, insurance coverage, and corporate governance, beginning as a litigation associate at Freund Freeze & Arnold and Cors & Bassett, LLC. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BA in English & Sociology from the University of Kentucky.
