Marlon S. began their work experience in 2016 as a Controller for an unspecified company. In 2020, they became a Management Consultant at Kyong-Ho Engineering & Architects Co., Ltd. and later in 2022, they transitioned to the role of Corporate Controller at UsedCardboardBoxes & UCBZeroWaste (UCB).

Marlon S. attended the Polytechnic University of the Philippines from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Tertiary/College Education with a focus in Accountancy. In 2008, they became a Certified Public Accountant after passing the examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission. Marlon also holds several additional certifications. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Quality Management System Auditor certification from Synergized Macro Solutions, Inc. (SMS), focusing on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19011:2011. In 2019, they obtained another Certified Quality Management System Auditor certification from SMS, this time focusing on ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 9001:2015. In 2022, Marlon acquired a Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from ProcessDoctorsAcademy.
