Scott Merkling

Scott Merkling has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. Scott started as a Software Developer at Rutgers where they designed and built a web version of Gato, an open source graph animation project. In 2013, they joined Referabuyer as a Software Engineer, where they worked with Python and Go to develop an email marketing application that integrates with eBay to automatically create and send newsletters created from real-time auction data. Scott also developed an analytics application with Django for paramaterized scheduled reporting. In 2014, they took on an additional role as an English Teacher at Guru English School. In 2015, they moved to Optimizely as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they joined Twitch as a Software Engineer and most recently, in 2022, they joined Vesta as a Software Engineer.

Scott Merkling attended Rutgers University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
