Dean Jutilla

Dean Jutilla began their career in 1986 as a Sports Information Department Student Assistant at the University of Washington. Dean then moved on to become a Media Relations Intern at the Pacific-10 Conference in 1992. After this, they worked as an Account Executive/Copy Writer at Cavalli & Cribbs in 1993. In 1995, Dean became the Director of Media Relations for the American Basketball League, where they achieved coverage on virtually every national network, and Sports Illustrated, as well as major market dailies. From 1999 to 2004, Dean worked as a Senior Public Relations Manager at Yahoo!, where they were a core member of the communications team and led daily publicity efforts and media relations for over 20 Yahoo! vertical properties. Dean then went on to become an Independent PR Consultant at DJPR in 2002. From 2007 to 2009, Dean was the Director of Marketing & Social Media at Mpire Corporation, later renamed AdXpose, a market-leading advertising optimization and verification technology company. Finally, they served as the Vice President, Corporate Communications at uShip from 2009 to present.

Dean Jutilla attended Curtis Senior High School from 1986 to 1988, and then went on to receive a BA in Communications with a PR emphasis from the University of Washington between 1988 and 1992.
