Michael Au

Michael Au has a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations. Michael is currently working as the Director of Infrastructure & Operations at Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Infrastructure at the same company. In 2013, Michael joined PVH Corp., where they served as the Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure & Service Desk for Asia Pacific. Michael was responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and service delivery across the region, including implementing work from home technologies and managing major projects related to co-location sites and disaster recovery. Before joining PVH Corp., Michael worked at Warnaco as the Manager of Infrastructure & Helpdesk for Asia Pacific. Michael'sresponsibilities included managing the network infrastructure and IT service delivery. Michael also has experience as the MIS Manager and Head of IT at Hongkong Sales (Knitwear) Limited, where they were responsible for the company's IT strategy and direction. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a System Administrator at PolyU Technology and Consultancy Co. Ltd. and as the Co-Founder and Technical Lead at Impression Workshop Limited, where they focused on providing online services for small businesses.

Michael Au obtained their MBA in Strategy, Leadership, and Organizational Behaviour from AGSM @ UNSW Business School between 2007 and 2009. Michael also holds a BSc in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, earned from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Point Grey Secondary from 1990 to 1993 and La Salle College from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation V3 (2011) from PeopleCert, MCSA: Windows 2000 (2002) from Microsoft, MCSE: Windows NT 4.0 (2000) from Microsoft, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (1999) from Microsoft.
