Marcelo Monteiro is a seasoned executive with 28 years of experience in Sales, Operations, and P&L Management, specializing in Automation Engineering and technical services across various sectors including Energy, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Industry. Currently serving as Director of Automation Engineering at USIMINAS since February 2021, Marcelo previously held leadership roles at M&I Electric Brazil as Director of Industry & Energy andGeneral Manager for Automation Engineering Projects, as well as at Cinco Engenharia Ltda and GE Power Conversion Brazil, where responsibilities included managing extensive technical and commercial teams, overseeing substantial project budgets, and driving sales strategies. Marcelo's educational background includes an MBA from FGV - OHIO University College of Business and degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from PUC Minas and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, respectively.
