Robert Kargbo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in medicinal chemistry and project management. Currently serving as CMC Project Lead and Medicinal Chemist at Usona Institute since September 2017, Robert manages GMP and non-GMP API production campaigns, conducts root cause analysis, and implements process improvements. As an active contributor to the scientific community, Robert holds multiple editorial and committee roles in prestigious organizations, including the Journal of Addiction and Substance Abuse and the American Chemical Society. Previously, Robert advanced to Team Leader at AMRI, overseeing research teams and drug development projects. Robert's academic background includes a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from North Dakota State University and a BS in Chemistry from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
