Zachary A Zalewski

Zachary A Zalewski, PhD, JD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Zachary A is currently working as the Enterprise Strategy Director at US Pharmacopeia since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Avalere Health starting as a Fellow in April 2019 and later worked as a Consultant I from September 2019 to March 2021 and as a Consultant II from March 2021 to March 2022. Zachary A also served as the Presidential Scholar of Law at The Hastings Center from January 2018 to May 2018, conducting independent and collaborative research in bioethics and health policy. Additionally, they worked as a Law Clerk at Fay Sharpe from May 2016 to August 2017. Their work experience also includes being a Graduate Student at Baylor College of Medicine from August 2008 to August 2015, where they conducted independent research as part of their Ph.D. requirements.

Zachary A. Zalewski, PhD, JD completed their education with a High School Diploma from Eisenhower High School in 2004. Zachary A then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, as well as History, from Michigan State University from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine between 2008 and 2015. Lastly, they attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law from 2015 to 2018, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Health Law.
