Laura Michelle Vaughn

Laura Michelle Vaughn is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Technical Writer/Editor at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since September 2023. With a distinguished career in public health and pharmacy, Laura has held various leadership roles, including Commander, Lieutenant Commander, and Lieutenant in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Prior experience includes Director of Clinical Pharmacy and Advanced Practice Pharmacist at the Indian Health Service, and Clinical Pharmacist at the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. Laura has also contributed significantly to pharmacy education as a Clinical Instructor across multiple universities.
