Bretney Massenburge has a strong background in the healthcare industry, specifically in the field of mental health and behavioral health. In 2015, they began their career at UT Health East Texas as a Child and Family Counseling Charge Nurse, where they provided vital care and support to patients and their families. After five years in this role, Bretney moved on to UT Health Northeast in 2020 to take on the position of Behavioral Health Outpatient Nurse Manager. In this role, they managed the outpatient behavioral health services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients. Currently, Bretney is serving as the Behavioral Health Director of Nursing at UT Health East Texas, a role they began in June 2022.
