Mike Whitesides

Mike Whitesides has a diverse work experience history. Mike started their career in 2005 at Utah State University, where they worked their way up from Marketing Manager for Extension to Assistant Director and ultimately Associate Director of Marketing for Extension. In these roles, Mike was responsible for overseeing marketing materials, strategic planning, branding, event planning, public relations, and IT coordination. Mike also managed a team of editors, graphic designers, and student interns. Mike left Utah State University in 2015 and started their own business called Mike Whitesides Coaching in 2017, where they serve as a Business Coach and Trainer. Prior to that, they worked as a Realtor at Equity Real Estate, LLC and as the President/Founder of WeTravelCheap.com. In 2005, they briefly worked as an Event Coordinator at Brigham Young University Hawaii.

Mike Whitesides obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Utah State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University, studying from 2004 to 2005.
