Derek Steele

Derek Steele is a skilled video editing and production professional with a diverse background in various roles within the media industry. Currently serving as a Jr Video Editor for the Utah Jazz since August 2022, Derek previously worked as a Videographer at Cozy Earth and held multiple positions at Purple and BYU AdLab, including Video Editor and Content Creator. Additional experience includes working as an Assistant Video Editor at Kaleidoscope Pictures Inc. and serving in multiple audiovisual roles at Brigham Young University from April 2015 to August 2020, where responsibilities included videography for the Dean’s office, BYU Football, and live production events. Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Brigham Young University, earned between 2017 and 2021.
