Marquis Newman

Marquis Newman has extensive experience in professional basketball management, currently serving as the General Manager of the SLC Stars and previously holding roles such as Director of Pro Personnel and Coordinator of Scouting for the Utah Jazz since October 2014. In these positions, Marquis Newman has been responsible for coordinating scouting and evaluation efforts, focusing on both pro and college talent. Prior to joining the Utah Jazz, Marquis Newman worked as a Basketball Operations Front Office Assistant at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and served as a Management Trainee Intern at Nordstrom. Marquis Newman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Utah, attending the David Eccles School of Business from 2010 to 2015.
