Adam Himes is an experienced urban designer currently employed at Utile, Inc. since June 2017, where significant projects include the ongoing construction management of 154 Broadway in Somerville, MA, and the lead design of the Zero Greenway development in Boston, MA. Himes has also contributed to various projects in major cities, such as the Eastern Market Neighborhood Framework in Detroit, the Buffalo Bayou East Sector Master Plan in Houston, and the Malden River Greenway vision plan across multiple Massachusetts cities. Previous roles as a studio instructor at Boston Architectural College and a research associate at Harvard University Graduate School of Design showcase a commitment to urban design education and research. Early career experience includes architectural positions in Turkey and contributions to award-winning projects during tenures at Carnegie Mellon University and over,under. Himes holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
