Theresa Gilbert

Theresa Gilbert is currently the Vice President of Communications & Culture at Utilidata. Theresa has held this position for 1 year and 10 months. Prior to their current role, they served as the Vice President of External Affairs and the Vice President of Communications at Global Strategy Group for 7 years and 1 month. In these roles, Theresa was responsible for developing and executing marketing and new business strategy for the energy and utility industry, developing and executing social media strategy, and working with executive teams to enhance communications. Theresa also advised a global asset management firm on employee and affiliate communications throughout a significant business transformation and implemented new strategies for employee communications at a global Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company to support a new approach to performance management. Theresa has also been responsible for leading a variety of projects to enhance the communications of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and served as the day-to-day point of contact for Connecticut’s health exchange on a campaign that successfully positioned Access Health CT as one of the nation’s leaders in health care reform.

Theresa Gilbert attended Quinnipiac University School of Law, where they received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Relations & Sociology at Quinnipiac University in 2008. While an undergraduate, they were a founding member of the Eta Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society.
