Emil Mahler Larsen

Emil Mahler Larsen is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as CTO and Co-Founder of Utiligize since September 2018, where expertise in data-driven asset management enhances utility investments and maintenance through predictive models. Prior experience includes consulting at Dansk Energi, focusing on statistical and engineering solutions for the electricity market, and a postdoctoral role at the Technical University of Denmark applying machine learning to electricity system challenges. Emil's early career involved research at Argonne National Laboratory, freelance writing, and significant contributions to Vestas in developing an algorithm for battery storage services. Emil holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Wind Energy from DTU, and a BSci in Physics from the University of Nottingham.
