David Walter

David Walter has an extensive work experience history spanning over two decades. David held various high-level positions in notable companies. Their most recent role was as Chief Growth Officer at Utility Warehouse since July 2023. Before that, they served as Chief Commercial Officer at the same company from April 2022 to July 2023. Prior to their time at Utility Warehouse, David worked as VP, Commercial at OVO from January 2020 to December 2021. David also held roles at SSE plc, where they were Product Director from December 2016 to January 2020 and Managing Director of SSE Home Services from November 2014 to December 2016. Additionally, David worked as a Commercial Consultant at an independent company for a few months in 2014. David was also a Commercial Director at EMCAS from February 2012 to April 2014. Earlier in their career, David held various positions at Centrica, including Managing Director of Dyno-Rod, Commercial Director at British Gas, and Head of Group Insight. David began their professional journey with marketing and sales roles at Nestle after completing a graduate program at Johnson & Johnson.

David Walter received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Bede's School from 1988 to 1994. In addition, David has obtained certifications in "Strategies for Growth & Innovation" from Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School in 2018, and "Top Dog (2008)" from ?What If! Innovation in 2008.
