Kyle Kenan

Kyle Kenan has over a decade of experience in educational leadership and mathematics instruction. Currently serving as the Dean of Students at Utopian Academy for the Arts since July 2022, Kyle previously held the position of Dean of Mathematics at KIPP Texas Public Schools from June 2020 to November 2022 and was the STEM Department Head at KIPP Houston Public Schools from July 2013 to June 2020. Kyle's earlier career includes roles as a 7th and 8th-grade Mathematics Teacher at Girls and Boys Prep and as an Algebra Teacher at Duplin County School. Kyle holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
