Marcus Broadhead

Marcus Broadhead, Ed.D has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Marcus is currently serving as the Director of New School Design and Development at Utopian Academy for the Arts. In addition, Marcus is the Business Owner of Aid & Tailored Leadership Consulting, LLC. Prior to these roles, they co-founded the SHIFT program, which focuses on supporting teenage males academically and socially. Marcus has also held positions as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and Transition Coordinator in various educational institutions. Marcus has worked as an English Teacher at both Freeport High School and St. John's University, where they also served as an Adjunct Professor. Marcus's experience includes developing curriculum, facilitating lectures, coordinating trips, and promoting academic excellence and self-awareness among students.

Marcus Broadhead, Ed.D has an extensive education history. Marcus obtained a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Argosy University from 2007 to 2012. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Education Leadership from State University of West Georgia College in 2007-2008. Marcus also holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English from Hofstra University, which they completed from 1997 to 1999. Marcus Broadhead obtained their Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing from Hofstra University between 1992 and 1997. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Educational Leadership, English 6-12, and Gifted from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in 2010.
