Barbara Holt

Barbara Holt has a diverse work experience in financial operations and accounting. Barbara currently serves as the Executive Director of Student Financial Operations at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where they provide strategic oversight and leadership to the Student Accounting Services Office. In this role, they manage student accounts, university accounts receivable, payment collection, financial reporting, and information technology. Prior to this, Barbara held various roles at UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC), including Senior Director of Financial Operations, Director of Accounting, Associate Director of Accounting, Sr. Financials Systems Analysis, Senior Accountant Student Financials, and Development Specialist. In these positions, they were responsible for financial analysis, preparing financial reports, developing and implementing effective accounting controls, and overseeing the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Barbara Holt earned their BBA in Accounting from Texas Wesleyan University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Barbara further pursued their education at Tarleton State University and obtained an MBA in Accounting from 2011 to 2014.
