Jennifer Cahn, PhD, CRA has a diverse work experience in research administration, grant writing, and curation. Jennifer currently serves as the Director of Research Administration at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as an Independent Grant Writer and Curator since 2018. From 2018 to 2023, they were a Grant Research Officer at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. Previously, they held positions as a Head Curator at the International Museum of Art & Science from 2015 to 2018, a Coordinator-Patron of the Arts at the University of Texas at Brownsville from 2014 to 2015, and a Fulbright Scholar from 2012 to 2013. Jennifer also worked as a Development Research Associate at the University of Texas at Brownsville from 2010 to 2012, a Curator at the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art from 2006 to 2012, and a Curator of Exhibitions at Mid-America Arts Alliance from 1999 to 2004.
Jennifer Cahn, PhD, CRA obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Lewis & Clark College from 1982 to 1986. Jennifer then pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they earned a PhD in Art History and Museum Studies, completing their studies from 1989 to 1999.
