Patrick J. Poynter

Patrick J. Poynter serves as a Construction and Safety Coordinator at UTS Engineering LLC since January 2022. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at Duke Energy Corporation from March 2000 to December 2021, where Patrick held several positions, culminating in Manager of Work Management. In this role, Patrick managed all Line, Substation, and CST construction and maintenance planners and schedulers for southern Indiana, overseeing capital projects exceeding $200 million and maintaining an O&M budget. Previous positions at Duke Energy included South Work Area Coordinator, Substation Maintenance Supervisor, Substation Maintenance Mechanic, and Substation Construction roles. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and additional coursework in Electrical Engineering at ITT Technical Institute.
