Prashant Mishra

Prashant Mishra currently serves as Director of Operations at Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., overseeing the operation and maintenance of metro railway systems and managing recruitment and training efforts. Previously, Mishra held various senior positions at National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd., including Principal Executive Director (Electrical), where responsibilities encompassed the planning, design, and execution of India’s first high-speed rail project, along with developing project reports for other corridors. Extensive experience with Indian Railways includes leadership roles in electrical engineering, including the management of significant EMU and metro rolling stock projects, and contributions to railway electrification and procurement processes.
