Richard Lu

Richard Lu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and innovation within the financial services sector. Currently serving as SVP Product at utu since June 2023, Richard also holds the position of CPO and Co-founder at CardsPal since September 2019, where leadership spans the development and execution of product strategies. Previously, Richard contributed to Standard Chartered Bank from March 2014 to May 2021, undertaking roles that included guiding the bank's innovation efforts through SC Ventures and launching successful products in Transaction Banking. Early career experience includes positions at EY and Bank of Communications Co.,Ltd., with an academic background comprising an MBA from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
