Peter D. Newcomer

Peter D. Newcomer, MD is the Chief Clinical Officer at UW Health. Prior to this role, they served as the Assistant Medical Director of Ambulatory Informatics at UW Hospital and Clinics from January 2005 to December 2010. In this role, they were responsible for leading the clinical care team and providing physician leadership for ambulatory care initiatives. Peter currently splits their time between caring for patients in their internal medicine practice and leading clinical care initiatives at UW Health.

Peter D. Newcomer has a Master's of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Peter also has an MD from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
