Maritza Curry

Maritza Curry is an experienced data management professional currently serving as the Head of Data at RCS since November 2019, overseeing the establishment of the Data Office and managing data governance functions. Maritza also acts as an external moderator for the Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence at the University of the Western Cape and has participated as a speaker in various international webinars and conferences focusing on data governance and analytics. Previously, Maritza held the role of Strategic BI Consultant at PBT Group, primarily working with Capitec, and served as Business Intelligence Manager at Woolworths, where Maritza revitalized the organization's data and analytics capabilities. Maritza holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University.
