Suman Menon

Suman Menon is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at UWC Holdings Sdn Bhd since December 2021, specializing in the development of mechanical designs with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness, while also generating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software. Previously, Suman worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Swiss Ranks from September 2019 to December 2021, where responsibilities included designing mechanical and electro-mechanical components using Solidworks and integrating these into subsystems and assemblies. An internship at B. Braun Medical from September 2017 to April 2018 involved quality planning for new products and designing quality testing jigs using AutoCAD 2017. Suman began a career in the industry as an operator at First Solar in late 2015, setting up and adjusting machine settings for production cycles. Suman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (2014-2019) and completed secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Badlishah (2011-2013).
