Niels Ploeg began their work experience in 2010 as a Sales Advisor at H&M. Niels then worked as a Design Intern at Ready to fish by ilja in 2013, where they focused on graphic and print design. In 2014, they joined Senza Tea Company as a Research and Design Intern, handling tasks related to graphic design, identity design, and retail design. From 2015 to 2018, Niels held the position of Sales Representative at Ready to fish by ilja and HOPE Production AB, respectively. In 2015, they also worked as a Design Intern at The Invisible Party, specializing in graphic design and art direction. Niels later became an Experience Design Student at Hyper Island in 2016, exploring various fields such as service design and interaction design. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Graphic Designer at DAY Creative BV, and currently holds the same role at UXUS starting from 2020.
Niels Ploeg began their education by attending De Breul from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained their HAVO degree with a focus on Cultuur & Maatschappij. Niels then pursued further education at Academie Artemis from 2011 to 2015, earning an HBO Bachelor Allround Styling degree. In 2011, they also completed the Course Basis Styling at Academie Artemis. Later on, in 2016 to 2017, Niels attended Hyper Island, specializing in Experience Design. Additionally, in 2009, they completed the Course Management & Organisatie at Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
