Ellen Andries is a highly experienced postdoctoral researcher and clinical audiologist specializing in cochlear implants, with a focus on the outcomes of cochlear implantation and the implementation of the ICF model in adults with acquired sensorineural hearing loss. Current work is at UZA since October 2018, following a role as an audiologist at AudioNova België. Previous positions include internships in audiology at UZ Leuven and Radboudumc, with earlier roles as a student worker and intern in speech-language pathology. Ellen Andries holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Antwerp, alongside multiple degrees in audiology and speech-language pathology from KU Leuven.
