Ivana Gorbaslieva

Ivana Gorbaslieva is a dedicated medical scientist currently working at UZA since July 2023 and serving as a PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp since December 2020. Previous experience includes organizing a phase I clinical trial and contributing to clinical investigation plans at ElmediX from April 2019 to May 2023. Ivana also led projects at the International Agency for Research on Cancer from July 2012 to February 2019, focusing on the role of Human Papillomavirus infection in head and neck cancer etiology. Academic accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Medicine from Utrecht University, supplemented by various research roles throughout education.
