David Kantrowitz has worked as a Senior Software Engineer for five different companies over the past 30 years. In 2020, they began working for V1 Sports. From 2017 to 2020, they worked for Plymouth Rock Energy, an ENGIE company where they developed C#/.Net Core and .Net Standard back-end Web API controller libraries in Visual Studio 2019 and used Entity Framework, DB contexts, and models to access & modify tables in MS SQL server databases. David also used MailKit and MimeKit with SMTP and IMAP clients to automate email operations. From 2017 to 2017, they worked for Intrepid Control Systems where they reverse engineered hardware via schematics, DMM, scope, & experimentation. David restructured DLL to support new hardware and wrote test applications, diagnosed & documented errors. From 2010 to 2017, they worked for SPOT Imaging where they changed how pathologists do imaging, replaced clunky GUI & awkward workflow with one so easy to use, virtually eliminated the learning curve, and added must-have new power by cracking camera's hidden protocols. David also encapsulated entire build process into a unified set of scripts, projects, and custom apps. From 1991 to 2010, they worked for Davka Corporation.
David Kantrowitz completed a Bachelor Science (Sc. B) in Computer Science at Brown University between 1982 and 1987. David then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Brown University between 1982 and 1987. Additionally, they obtained a certification in SQL from TestDome in April 2020.
