Michael Lee

Michael Lee has held a variety of roles in the food industry since 1999. Michael began their career as a Production Shift Supervisor at M&M Food in 1999. In 2005, they became an R&D Project Manager at Yum. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Senior Technical Manager at PepsiCo, providing support for R&D and Operations initiatives on KFC new equipment/small ware development, working on margin improvement on equipment efficiency and utility consumption, and managing supplier performance and equipment/small ware quality tracking. In 2017, they became an Operations Director at Welbilt Inc. and in 2019, they were appointed as the General Manager of R&D, Technical, Quality Centre at Westlake Food Co. Ltd. Currently, they are the R&D/Commercialization Director at v2food.

Michael Lee obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology between 1995 and 1999. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2009 and 2012.
