Salim Kudus

Salim Kudus has over 27 years of experience in the field of supply chain and finance. Salim began their career in 1994 as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young, where they specialized in the oil & gas and mining sector. In 1999, they joined Exel as a Financial Controller, where they were part of a team that turned around a $1m a month loss-making business to break even in one year. Salim was also responsible for successfully outsourcing transactional finance activities to a shared service centre in Ireland. In 2004, Salim joined DHL as a Regional Financial Controller for the Middle East. In 2009, they moved to AstraZeneca as a Supply Chain Commercial Manager, where they were responsible for local lead for successful implementation of a Regional Distribution Centre in Dubai, managing a team of four, and providing leadership on process and profit improvement projects. In 2012, they joined Blackmores as a Senior Consultant Contract, providing commercial support and financial/data analysis to the Strategic Sourcing and Operation Teams. Later that year, they moved to Campari Australia as a Supply Chain Manager Asia Pacific, where they helped to deliver $2.4m in cost savings over three years by optimizing warehouse & distribution in Australia and contract negotiations, set up a Regional Hub in Singapore, delivered a new route to market for New Zealand customers, and implemented SAP APO. In 2021, they joined v2food as a Supply Chain Manager.

Salim Kudus attended Garden School, KL, Malaysia in their youth, followed by Sevenoaks School, Kent, UK where they obtained their \"A\" Levels in Sciences. Salim then attended The University of Western Australia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics. Salim later became a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 1996. In 2019, Salim attended The Gap Partnership to take the course The Essential Negotiator, and also took the course Presenting With Influence at (NIDA) National Institute of Dramatic Art.
