Andrew Fawthrop

Andrew Fawthrop serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Independent Director at VAALCO since October 2014. Between June 2015 and December 2022, Andrew acted as a Senior Advisor at The Boston Consulting Group, focusing on international energy projects. Previously, Andrew held various leadership roles at Chevron, including Chairman and Managing Director of Chevron Companies in Nigeria, where oversight included approximately 3,000 employees and significant capital ventures across several West African countries. Earlier in Andrew's career, leadership positions included Vice President roles at Union Oil, where responsibilities spanned global operations and business development, and a focus on exploration and asset management. Andrew earned a Master's degree in Marine Earth Science from UCL.
