Rodolfo Toledo

Rodolfo Toledo has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Rodolfo started their career as a Software Developer at Universidad de Chile in 2003 and later worked as a Software Developer at Movix from 2005 to 2006. Rodolfo then pursued a PhD at the University of Chile from 2006 to 2014. During this time, they also had a short-term position as a Visiting PhD Student at INRIA Sophia Antipolis in 2007.

In 2011, Rodolfo joined Movix again, this time as a System Integration Engineer and later as a Research and Development Lead, staying with the company until 2014. Rodolfo then co-founded Nubato in 2015 and worked as a Co-Founder until 2016. Following this, they co-founded BiT Proyectos in 2016 and served as a Co-Founder until 2017.

Rodolfo's recent work experience includes roles at Vacasa, where they worked as an Engineering Team Lead from 2017 to 2019, then as the Director of Engineering from 2019 to 2021, and currently as the VP of Engineering since April 2021. In these positions, they have managed teams of engineers and provided support and direction for various technical projects and services related to online travel agencies, pricing optimization, and guest-facing services.

Rodolfo Toledo has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Science. Rodolfo completed their B.Sc. in Engineering Sciences at Universidad de Chile from 1999 to 2002. Rodolfo then pursued an Engineering degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Continuing their academic journey, they earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universidad de Chile from 2006 to 2014.
