Antonella Vardeu

Antonella Vardeu has extensive experience in the field of scientific research. Antonella currently works as a Senior Scientist at Vaccitech since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Biomarkers Scientist at Immunocore from April 2017 to February 2021.

Antonella also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Bristol from January 2016 to March 2017, and as a Visiting PHD Student at Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol from October 2013 to October 2015.

Antonella'scareer began as a Research Assistant at the Università degli Studi di Sassari in May 2011, where they focused on analyzing molecular mechanisms related to cellular response to natural antioxidants. Antonella'sresponsibilities included conducting experiments such as measuring intracellular ROS production, conducting MTT and apoptosis assays, and performing Western Blot analysis.

Antonella Vardeu completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, General at Università degli Studi di Sassari from 2003 to 2008. Antonella then pursued a Master's degree in Experimental and Applied Biology at the same institution, graduating in 2011. Antonella went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Physiology, and Molecular Biology at Università degli Studi di Sassari from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Antonella Vardeu obtained a certification in Good Clinical Practice from the University of Bristol in April 2015.
