Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams has a strong background in quality assurance and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Daniel is currently the VP of Quality at Vaccitech, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Eisai EMEA as the Director of Clinical Quality Assurance from May 2020 to July 2023. Before that, Daniel held various roles at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, including Associate Director of Business Development, Pharma R&D Q&C from June 2013 to May 2020, Associate Director of Bioresearch Quality & Compliance from October 2009 to May 2020, and Associate Director of Global R&D QA from October 2009 to June 2013. Daniel also worked as a Senior Manager of Global Quality Assurance and Compliance at Covance from January 2008 to October 2009, as a Senior Global Clinical Auditor at Bayer HealthCare PLC from July 2000 to December 2007, and as a Clinical Quality Assurance Auditor at both Wyeth and Leicester Clinical Research Centre from 1998 to 2000 and 1996 to 1998, respectively. Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated a strong ability to manage teams, implement outsourcing processes, and drive cost efficiencies.

From 1990 to 1993, Daniel Williams attended the University of Glamorgan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science. Their field of study was focused on Biology and Geology.
