Shani Alsibahie

Shani Alsibahie possesses a diverse background in engineering and marine support, currently serving as a Communications and Marine Support Engineer at the British Antarctic Survey since November 2021. With extensive experience in diving as a PADI OWSI and freelance instructor, Shani specializes in several areas including deep diving, enriched air, and underwater photography. As a Commissioning Engineer with Vacuum Furnace Engineering Ltd and a Support Engineer at Autoclave and Industrial Controls Ltd, Shani has honed skills in diagnostics and software management. Previous roles include 2nd Engineer with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and various technician positions in motorsport, demonstrating a strong technical foundation and commitment to conservation and marine activities. Educational qualifications include an HND in Motor Sport Engineering from Oxford Brookes University, along with additional training in software and micro turbine technology.
