Brittany Wood

Brittany Wood is an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in project management of brazing and diffusion bonding of metals, working primarily in aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors at Vacuum Process Engineering since July 2011. With expertise in tooling design and testing procedures, Brittany has effectively contributed to projects in an ISO 9001 and AS9100C environment. Previous roles include Assistant Materials Researcher at the University of California, Davis, where research focused on polymer transfer for wound healing applications, and Project Engineer positions at Ormat Nevada, Inc. and Chromalloy Nevada, where Brittany coordinated engineering efforts and improved process efficiency. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Supply Chain & Logistics and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
