Romain Basset

Romain Basset has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Romain currently serves as the Director of Customer Services at Vade, where they previously held positions as Sales Engineering Manager and Sales Engineer. Prior to Vade, Romain worked at Stormshield as a Product Manager and Quality Assurance Engineer. Earlier in their career, they gained experience at Airbus CyberSecurity as a Security System Integration Engineer and Software Engineering Intern. Romain also had a project management assistant role at FXB Consulting Inc., where they were responsible for managing a US retail website development project. Romain started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at JCDecaux North America and Solinux.

Romain Basset earned their DUT (2-year degree) in Computer Science from IUT Amiens in the years 2003 to 2005. Romain then pursued further education at Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens), where they completed their Licence 3 (Last year of a 3-year college degree) in Computer Science from 2005 to 2006. Romain then attended Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 2006 to 2010, obtaining an Engineering Diploma (master's degree) in Computer Science. As part of their master's program, they were an exchange student at Chalmers University of Technology from 2008 to 2009, specializing in Networks & Distributed Systems.
