Badari Kalagi

Badari Kalagi has over 10 years of experience in software security and development. Badari worked at Oracle as a software developer before moving to Cigital, where they interned as a software security specialist. Badari then worked at Citrix as a product security engineer, leading the company's security program and SDLC for SaaS products. After that, they joined Microsoft's Office 365 Product Security team where they conducted security architecture reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments for multiple cloud-based services. Badari later worked at Uber as a senior program manager for security assurance, compliance, and risk where they created a charter for implementing and monitoring compliance programs. Most recently, Badari joined Salesforce as a senior security manager, where they were responsible for ensuring proactive security consultation across all engineering features and infrastructure changes.

Badari Kalagi completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Badari earned a Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas. Badari also obtained several certifications, including Threat Modeling Intensive from Shostack + Associates in May 2023, Learning Program Management from LinkedIn in June 2020, and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) from SANS Institute in January 2016.
