Patrick Rooney

Patrick Rooney currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at the Vermont Association of Hospitals and Health Systems since February 2023. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Vermont Health Access from April 2022 to March 2023, and served as the Director of Health Systems Finance at the State of Vermont Green Mountain Care Board from June 2019 to April 2022. Patrick's experience also includes the role of Chief Financial Officer at Addison County Home Health and Hospice from May 2017 to June 2019, and volunteer service as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Homeward Bound (Addison County Humane Society) from January 2016 to January 2019. Earlier in the career, Patrick worked as a Commercial Lending Associate at The National Bank of Middlebury from November 2014 to May 2017. Patrick holds multiple degrees from Champlain College, including a Master's degree and a Master in Science Law, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
