Skylar Brannon Buettner

Skylar Brannon Buettner, PhD, is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in driving product innovation and enhancing customer experience. Currently serving as Senior Manager and formerly as Senior Data Scientist at Vail Resorts since February 2022, Buettner collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions. Prior to this role, Buettner was a Data Scientist at GutCheck from January 2021 to February 2022, where contributions focused on delivering research-backed solutions. Buettner also worked as a Data Scientist with ERPi, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, and as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in the intersection of psychology and data-driven analysis. Buettner holds a PhD in Social Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Psychology from Baylor University.
